DESCRIPTION:“OVERDOSE” by Marlon Bach is a 20-minute shortfilm about hedonism\, drugs and death by overdose being the physical limit to excessive hedonism. The story is based on real interviews with people who have experienced direct trauma through overdosing or have experienced passive trauma through losing someone close. The reports of shock\, grief and recovery being the auditory part to the collage\, visually “OVERDOSE” shows the posh naivety of a hedonistic life in a joyous way. The contrast between contents creates a hypnotic tension and lines in between start to blur. „Designing Soundscapes“ by Martha Jokiel is an experimental exploration of the complexities involved in notating and interpreting electronic music. Unlike traditional music genres like jazz or rock\, electronic music often leaves listeners curious about how each unique sound is created due to the vast array of possibilities for sound generation. To shed light on this process\, a graphical system was developed and provided to six diverse music producers. Their task was to use this system to craft a track\, showcasing their individual creative approaches. The resulting works by DJ Mell G\, Viikatory\, F#X\, Loi\, Henry Baxmann\, and 11Schnull are featured in the exhibition\, offering insights into the intersection of visual artistry and electronic soundscapes. @dj_mellg @viikatory @fxdjblip @baxmine @loi.egm @11schnull Dive into the depths with „Beneath the Surface\,“ a work from Marieke Plettner\, which explores the multifaceted world of water. From ancient symbolism to contemporary interpretations\, this project explores the deep rooted human connection to this element. Through a variety of mediums\, including Video\, Paper and Fabric the Thesis tries to uncover the hidden depths of water’s significance. Each artwork offers a different perspective\, inviting viewers to contemplate the beauty\, mystery\, and power of water in our lives.
